The Hanyangling Museum of the Han Dynasty (Hanyangling) is located at Zhangjiawan Village, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of Xian City, Shaanxi Province. It is a joint tomb of Liu Qi, a notable emperor of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-24AD), and his empress, Empress Wang. It was built in the year 153 AD and covers an area of 20 square kilometers (4,942 acres).
After the Hanyangling Museum , we will transfer to Big Wild Goose Pagoda area .The Wild Goose Pagoda was built in Tang Dynasty. Its history dates back to 1300 years ago. It was inscribed as a world heritage by UNESCO in 2014. The pagoda is a seven-story building, which is 64.5 meters high. It is a landmark of Xi¡¯an. There are seven stories in the tower.The pagoda is named after the story of Xuanzang¡¯s journey to the west. Xuanzang is an eminent monk in Tang Dynasty. After he had gone on a pilgrimage for Buddhist scriptures in Tianzhu, known as India now, the pagoda was built to store the scriptures and Buddhist relics he brought from India.
After that, you will transfer back to the center again and visit the Bell Towe and Muslim Quarter. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Xi'an downtown around 17:00pm.
